Father time continues in his forward journey, relentless and unforgiving at the same time, catapulting me into the 51st year of existence on this plane of being.
As I had insinuated before in previous writings, one must keep a young set of thoughts, the playfulness of absolute youth but with the sophistication of a 17th-century aristocrat. That coupled with fine red wine, good company, and magick is a perfect mix for abating the effects of time and preserving one’s youth-fullness for as long as one can.
As we enter the last quarter of 2020, I have found this year to have been an eye-opener in more ways than one. The sheer change in energy around us is enough to denote that extraordinary things are in the making, still, people walk about with wool over their eyes, muttering incomprehensibly and still searching for the life that they left behind in 2019.
So, what lies ahead for me in this last quarter. Well, strangely enough, or not as it may be, I am seeking (by not seeking, letting it happen, yet manifesting) my ideal partner, twin flame if you may, that one person that I am going to share the rest of this incredible journey with until the candle decides to burn out on me.
Goodbye to the Lothario lifestyle, the mishaps, half-truths, bed-hopping, don’t get me wrong, it was good while it lasted, but my wants and desires have changed, as our journey in the world of magick changes, I now want to be able to dedicate my time and affection to that one special person. So wish me luck, by no means is it a menial task, not many good people left about, to be honest, saying that I am far from perfect myself, so it’s gonna be a challenge, nonetheless one that I will cherish as the rewards far outweigh the risks. ( Those interested can reach out hahahahaha)
So, therefore, what are my plans and contributions moving forward to the Occult community? Well, to keep studying and experimenting, always pushing boundaries mentally and magickally, see where it takes us. Of course, most of it will be documented and shared with you, in lessons, videos, and so forth. I would very much love to be able to travel freely again and in doing so visit the many places you guys have invited me too, at the same time putting together a series of workshops to do with occult study, magick and it’s ideology. That has to happen, even if it will just be a one-time event in a couple of chosen cities around the world.
At times we have to retreat from the real world, you see these times are sacred and should be cherished. However, there are times when we might have to retreat from the work itself. It is not something I advocate but needs must when the devil drives they say. I will not deny that we all have our struggles and issues right now. Times are uncertain the routine that had been established over the previous years is gone. Simply gone.
Even now, months into the pandemic, some are finding it a challenge to continue with the spiritual work they had begun before the world caught fire. It is now more important than ever to keep one’s vibrations high and focus on their spiritual side. I live in a country where people mourn the lack of normalcy more than the dead, albeit we didn’t have many, but dead they are too.
The important thing is to preserver with the Work. Do what you can where you are with what you have. Learn how to fit your Ordinary into the new normal. Make things work however one can. Ritual performed with much reverence, becomes quicker but not lacking. Where ever I am god and in so declaring the gods are with me.
So I hear you ask, how can one live their structured spiritual life in the midst of all this social chaos? The answer is the same as for everything else - Adapt.
